This new product launch comes on the heels of Reliance’s acquisition of the legendary Campa Cola brand.

The Asian richest continues to create a business empire with the introduction of many new lines of products. Now, Reliance that’s having a market cap of Rs 16.48 lakh crore enters into the re-hydrating beverage. Its Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) launched RasKik Gluco Energy, a rehydration consumer drink priced at Rs 10 single serving.

This is to further state that Ambani company wants to be a complete beverage and consumer products company. “Primarily, ‘RasKik’ has been promoted as that master brand for the juices as well as functional beverage offerings and therefore now allows RCPL to position itself as a total beverage and consumer products company in this line bringing out consumer-based products meant to tap into the daily real needs of the Indian consumer,” quoted the firm. 

Continuing the product portfolio expansion, Reliance has also acquired the venerable Campa Cola brand to offer products under the carbonated drinks segment. Competing with Tata Consumer Products, which offers a variety of hydrating drinks through the Tata Gluco+ brand with retail prices ranging from Rs 10, Raskik Gluco Energy is being launched.

At present, RCPL takes km strides on the re-hydration front with RasKik Gluco Energy and is set to reinvent refreshment in India. It works to fill the gap in the market by providing products meant for international standards but coupled with local knowledge and now stands ready with a complete package of high-quality fruit-based drinks, readily available juices, functional beverages, and more.” 

To complement its ever-expanding portfolio of products, Reliance has also acquired the century-old Campa Cola brand to introduce further in its carbonated drinks basket. This new entry in the Raskik carbonated offerings will face Tata Consumer Products, as it now unveils its range of hydrating drinks under the Tata Gluco+ brand, priced at retail at around Rs 10. Raskik Gluco Energy comes in cheap and accessible.
