OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, announced on Thursday its plan to invest up to Rs 6,000 crore in its India operations over the next three years.

Under ‘Project Starlight,’ the company intends to allocate Rs 2,000 crore annually to drive product innovation and enhance services in India.

The initiative, launched as a strategic vision for the brand’s future investments in the region, focuses on three main areas: improving device durability, providing exceptional customer service, and developing features tailored to the Indian market.

Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, emphasized, “Project Starlight reflects our commitment to addressing the everyday challenges of our users. India continues to be a key priority for us globally, and we aim to further strengthen the trust and loyalty of our Indian community.”
