According to Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer, games that were previously only accessible on Xbox will soon be accessible on the Nintendo Switch 2. In an interview with the Gamertag Radio podcast, he went on to say that he didn’t like the idea of “trying to gatekeep games” and that he wanted people to play Xbox on “many different screens.”

Spencer stated, “I want people to be able to experience the games that we build, the services that we offer, on as many devices as we can,” adding that he adhered to the “game-first not platform-first” concept, even though Xbox hardware was still “fundamental” to them.
